Can one prove Krishna’s existence through science?

By Dr Manish Pandit

Krishna is one of the central characters of the Mahabharata. If one can prove that the Mahabharata took place then we can prove that it’s central character Krishna definitely existed in the flesh. This is the premise of the film Krishna: History or Myth released in 2009 by Saraswati films. This film proves that the Mahabharata took place in 3067BCE.

There are several news items on this film “Krishna: History or Myth” from that time. This article published in Rediff drew considerable controversy at the time from a group of people who thought that Krishna could never be a historical figure. They also did not want Dr Manish Pandit to waste his time in using science to prove Krishna’s existence.

The film has since then been screened in 30+ countries and has over 1.5 million internet views. Another article on that film can be read here following a series of UK based screenings of the film to applause. The only point in the following article which is not accurate is that Dr Pandit took a sabbatical to film this documentary.
